Yael Pasmanik, Asaf Gam Hacohen

Lost & Found was organized and curated in collaboration with architect Nadav Heipert, presenting new work by artists Yael Pasmanik and Asaf Gam Hacohen. The exhibition turned on a deliberate friction: traditional art techniques - cyanotype, etching, hand-drawn studies - applied to the most contemporary and speculative readings of the city.
Tel Aviv appeared throughout the show as a layered urban field, simultaneously remembered and projected forward. The traditional techniques didn't soften the contemporary subject matter; they sharpened it, slowing the eye long enough to register what newer media tend to skim past.
The exhibition extended the gallery's continuing inquiry into how architecture is represented - and how representation itself shapes the way the city is read, lost, and found again.
