site-specific exhibition examining Israeli national identity through jewelry as spatial and political commentary, responding to the social and political crises that escalated with the events of October 7, 2023.

Signs & Wonders is a site-specific exhibition that examines the fractured Israeli identity in response to recent social and political crises, which escalated with the events of October 7, 2023. Curated as a spatial and political commentary, the exhibition uses jewelry as its central medium - small, intimate objects that carry the weight of national symbols.

National icons and architectural landmarks are deconstructed throughout the show, challenging notions of collective memory and belonging at a moment when both feel particularly contested. The exhibition asks what holds when symbols come apart, and what new meanings emerge when the familiar is broken open.

An adaptation of the exhibition is currently in development for Hansen House, Jerusalem - a historic building whose arches, layered history, and distinct spatial character will offer a different reading of the same questions, and support the project's potential as a traveling show.
